¿Cómo ahorrar para un viaje?

Para transformar el “Algún día” en un viaje concreto primero hay que empezar a ahorrar! No siempre es fácil empezar a hacer mini recortes en nuestro estilo de vida para poder viajar al lugar que soñamos, por eso te queremos dar unos tips que te ayudarán a ahorrar de la manera menos dolorosa posible.

 

1- Planea el viaje 🗺

Es mucho más fácil empezar a materializar el viaje una vez que ya sabemos más o menos cuánto dinero necesitaremos para realizarlo. 

  • ¿Cuándo te gustaría ir?
  • ¿Cuántos días?
  • ¿Dónde me quedo? Busca hoteles, hostales o increíbles Airbnbs y guárdalos en tus favoritos.
  • ¿Qué hacer? Averigua el precio de entradas a museos, atracciones u otras cosas que te gustaría hacer en el viaje (Fíjate bien en cuanto tiempo te tomaría, así puedes hacer un mejor itinerario)
  • Traslados. Haz un estimado de los precios de transporte, desde el Aeropuerto y dentro de la ciudad. Muchas ciudades ofrecen Tarjetas de metro/bus para turistas con descuentos en las atracciones más importantes.
  • Presupuesto diario: Aparte de transporte y alojamiento, establece un monto diario máximo para gastar durante tus vacaciones. Esto no significa que no disfrutes al máximo tu viaje, pero si te ayudará a llevar un registro de lo que vas gastando. Nada peor que volver de las vacaciones endeudado.

 

2- Mentalízate!😑

Todo está en la mente! Deja de ver ese viaje como un sueño, empieza a decretar y llámalo “PLAN”. Así podrás tomar todas tus decisiones de compra enfocadas en el viaje. “¿Una copita de vino más? Me podría tomar una copita de vino en Italia!” “Una chaqueta nueva a $20.000? Eso es la mitad de una noche de hotel en Barcelona!” Empezar a comparar el dinero así te quitará de inmediato las ganas de gastar en cosas que no necesitas!

 

3- Camina o pedalea más! 🚴‍♀

En lo posible, elige siempre caminar o pedalear en tus destinos! No solo ahorrarás dinero, también harás ejercicio! Disfrutarás de esa sesión de fotos en una soñada playa caribeña!

 

4- Ojos que no ven, bolsillo que no gasta! 🙈

Apenas te paguen, transfiere una parte a otra cuenta que no utilices (La cuenta rut te puede servir!) o a una cuenta de ahorro. No ahorres lo que “te sobra” del sueldo, establece un monto mensual y olvídate que alguna vez tuviste ese dinero. Vivir el mes sabiendo que no cuentas con esa plata te hará gastar de manera más inteligente.

 

5- Vende lo que no necesitas!

Un viaje es la mejor excusa para deshacerte de eso que solo hace bulto en tu closet. Haz una venta con tus amigas o por facebook. No solo generarás un ingreso extra, también tendrás espacio en el closet para traerte cosas del viaje! (y esas las vendes para el próximo!🤣 )

6- Evita comer afuera. 🍕

No te pedimos que te quedes encerrado en la casa hasta el viaje. Pero si tratar de limitar las salidas a comer afuera solo para ocasiones especiales. Llévate almuerzo al trabajo y arranca de los happy hours 🥂. Todo valdrá la pena cuando estés arriba del avión!

 

7- Compra solo lo que necesitas. 🛍

Esto aplica para todo! Comida, ropa y cosas. Dejemos de ver las cosas materiales como pequeños auto-regalos y los típicos “Me lo merezco”. Quizás realmente te mereces esos zapatos nuevos, pero ¿Hará una diferencia al lado de los que ya tienes? ¿Qué experiencia nueva podrías disfrutar en tu viaje con lo que cuestan esos zapatos?

 

 

Cada vez que estés en la encrucijada con una compra impulsiva, tómate un minuto, respira y pregúntate ¿Podría vivir sin esto? Si la respuesta es si, no lo compres, camina y no mires atrás! 

 

8- ¿Dinero extra? Para el viaje!. 💸

Recibiste alguna platita por ahí, algún regalo, un proyecto freelance? Para el viaje! Has como que nunca la viste y transfiérela directo a tu cuenta de ahorro.

 

9- Encuentra el vuelo perfecto! ✈

Cuando el pasaje ya está comprado, el viaje es un hecho! Pero los precios de los vuelos son tan variables que uno nunca sabe cuánto pagará. Aprovecha los Cyber days, las ofertas de paquetes turísticos y activa alarmas de precios para las fechas en las que quieres viajar.

Ahorrar no es fácil, y en momentos de estrés se nos puede ir olvidando la meta y caer en la tentación de gastar! Recuerda por qué estás haciendo esto, cuelga un póster en tu pieza, pon una foto del destino en tu fondo de pantalla, recorre las ciudades por google maps! Auto-motívate!
